We will meet in person (or via zoom if you choose virtual option). This is where we dive in deep on where you're at in your progress, why you may be getting stuck, and how to approach the coming week. The session is recorded so you can watch it later if you miss the live session. The program includes total of 8 sessions, 2hr each.
-
Each session includes an hour-long cooking session where you will learn how to make delicious and healthy meals quickly, and if you attend in person, you get to taste each dish. Previous participants rave about this experience!
-
One of the popular aspects of this program is that I incorporate science when I describe each topic. I keep in touch with the recent research and synthesize the findings into actionable plans for you.
-
If you have to miss any live meetings, no worries. Everything will be recorded so you can catch up on your own time, and you can always have your questions answered!
-
You will have access to a member-only website where you can the lectures, live meeting recordings, cooking videos and download the recipe book, shopping list & resources. Reset only participants will have access to this site for 3 months, Reset + Integrate participants will have access until the end of the year
-
Previous participants all say that they could not have gone through this kind of transformation without the support from a group of people who are going through the journey together. Our group is very active, supportive and inspirational! Many people develop new friendships from the group that continue long after the program has ended.
-
We will gather at my house for a potluck dinner during the Reset phase. This has been a highlight for many previous participants. We will share recipes, enjoy delicious meals while debriefing the amazing progress you have made during the program. You’ll love connecting to the community of like-minded people!
Here’s what you get...
Who’s leading the program?
Hi, I’m Ai!
I help busy women in midlife feel stronger, clearer, and more resilient as they age—without extremes. My approach blends evidence-based science (I’m an epidemiologist with a PhD from Columbia University and two decades studying nutrition and cancer) with practical lifestyle coaching and mindfulness (20+ years teaching yoga).
With so much confusing health advice out there, I cut through the noise and turn solid evidence into clear, actionable plans tailored to you.
I also love teaching cooking, and past participants say the Cook Labs are a highlight. As a working mom, I respect real-life time constraints, so we keep things simple, delicious, and family-friendly. You’ll learn to meal-plan and prepare protein- and antioxidant-rich, hearty meals quickly and confidently.
I live in Berkeley, California with my husband, Mark, our daughter Rubi, and our furry trio (cats Jasper and Ash, and Layla the dog). When I’m not working, teaching or cheering at volleyball, you’ll find me cooking, baking, gardening, running, hiking, traveling or planning the next adventure.
“The Mind-Body reset was a terrific way to get myself back on a healthy track after falling off during the pandemic.”
— KK, Moraga, CA

Frequently asked questions
-
I completely understand—life is busy, and I don’t expect everyone to make every single live session.
You will have access to all recordings and can watch them anytime.
If you’re signing up for the In-Person Plan, I ask that you attend most sessions, since space is very limited and priority is given to those who can fully participate in the live meetings.
-
Yes—you can still participate. Most of us lead busy lives, and scheduling conflicts are completely normal. I design the program with this in mind and will offer flexible strategies to help you stay on track no matter what your circumstances are.
-
Most participants find they feel more satisfied—not hungry at all — throughout the program. You’re encouraged to eat whenever you’re hungry, and there are no calorie restrictions because this is not a weight-loss program. In fact, many people report that they ate more than usual and still ended up losing weight!
-
Your health is truly priceless. Imagine retiring with a strong, healthy body and a clear mind—able to travel, play with your grandkids, and fully enjoy the hobbies you love.
Many of us easily spend money on take-out meals, fancy coffee or matcha drinks, clothes, cosmetics, or holiday gifts for our kids… yet when it comes to our health, we hesitate. But investing in your well-being is one of the few expenses that pays you back every single day. And once you learn quick, confident meal prep, most people actually end up saving money.
Because this program is held in my home, I can only offer 12–16 spots. That means each person receives close attention, individualized support, and a warm, intimate learning environment—but it also means space is truly limited.
Years of feeling better in your body is something you can’t buy later. It’s an investment in your future self.
That said, I never want finances to be the reason someone can’t participate.
If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please reach out privately—I’m more than happy to discuss options.I encourage you to consider this program as a meaningful holiday gift to yourself—one that truly supports the life you want to live.
-
Yes, you’re welcome to join only the 4-week Reset phase if that feels like the best fit for you. The reason I now offer a full 90-day program is because many past participants asked for continued support after the Reset—they found that having guidance through the “Integrate” phase made their results easier to sustain.
While I believe the full 90-day experience is the most beneficial, the Reset-only option is available. Please note that if you decide to extend into the full program after starting, the early-bird/combined discount will not apply because the pricing is already structured with that in mind.
If you’d like to participate in Reset-only, just reach out and I’ll help you get set up.
-
Everyone has a different relationship with coffee. While I encourage participants to experiment with reducing caffeine—since it’s often a hidden cause of fatigue—you do not have to give it up entirely.
If keeping your coffee is important to you, you’re absolutely welcome to keep it. You’ll be making so many other nourishing changes that you’ll still experience meaningful benefits from the program!
-
Yes—absolutely. The program is fully compatible with vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. You are never required to eat animal products during the Reset.
If you do enjoy animal protein, you can include certain types during the program, but it’s entirely optional.
-
No. This Reset is based entirely on whole foods—there are no required supplements. The program is built on the understanding that the body has an incredible natural capacity to heal when we remove common irritants and support it with nourishing foods.
That said, we will spend some time discussing popular supplements and the science behind them, in case you’re curious or interested in learning more.
-
While this is a lifestyle and health reset—not a traditional weight-loss program—most participants do lose unwanted weight, and many keep it off long-term. As your digestion improves and your body’s natural systems begin functioning more efficiently, you’ll likely experience less bloating, fluid retention, and constipation, which creates a feeling of lightness.
You’ll also become far more mindful about what you’re eating and why. Many past participants were surprised by how easily they shed pounds they had struggled with for years—simply by following the Reset’s whole-food approach, without feeling deprived!
-
The science around optimal protein intake is evolving quickly, especially for midlife health, metabolism, and healthy aging. I stay up to date with the latest research and continually refine my approach—and the program’s recipes—based on the newest evidence.
We’ll spend dedicated time discussing protein needs, how they change with age and activity level, and how to meet those goals in a realistic, enjoyable way. You’ll also get recipes and meal ideas that reflect the most current science.
-
If you live with someone, I highly encourage you to participate together. Previous participants report greater ease and success when their significant other also followed the reset during the four-week period. Some couples also experience stronger and more compassionate relationships after they walked the journey together. Even two people can create a sense of community. By encouraging each other, helping to plan meals, and cooking together, you can make the journey much more fun and feasible than if you’re fighting against the temptations of someone eating or drinking things you’re avoiding.
-
You’re not alone—many participants start the program feeling the same way. That’s why the program focuses on simple, fast, realistic meals that busy people can actually make. I’ll teach you how to batch-cook on weekends, assemble effortless weekday meals, and stock your kitchen with staples that make eating well almost automatic.
And if cooking truly isn’t possible some days, I’ll also provide plenty of tips and recommendations for healthy, already-prepared meal options so you can stay on track with ease.
-
Not at all! For many past participants, learning to cook healthy, delicious meals quickly became one of the best parts of the program. You’ll have access to how-to videos and a large library of easy, approachable recipes to guide you step by step.
I’ll also teach you simple strategies for prepping meals in advance so you can enjoy stress-free weekday dinners—and even easier breakfasts and lunches.
-
Absolutely. This is a comprehensive life transformation, even though it sounds like we’re only doing dietary modification. We will talk about diet, but we'll also dive into other important aspects of life such as stress, sleep, environment, and self-care. It is amazing how often we fail to realize that everything is interrelated. A shift in one aspect can create a rippling effect to the rest of our lives. You'll become much more mindful about everything you do, thereby becoming a more kind, compassionate person to yourself and others.
