Join Us: Yoga for Ariana ❤️‍🩹

In-Person & Virtual

Join me for a special yoga fundraiser to support Ariana, the incredible 13-year-old daughter of my dear friend Lyndsay Avalos—many of you know her! After nearly a decade in remission, Ariana was recently diagnosed with leukemia again and is now undergoing an intense course of treatment, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and a bone marrow transplant that will give her a second chance at life.

Throughout this journey, Ariana has shown remarkable strength, resilience, and courage—finding ways to smile, laugh, and stay connected with her friends, even from her hospital room. But the reality of her treatment is incredibly tough. She has endured intense pain, drastic changes to her body, and the isolation of being unable to go outside, attend school, play soccer, or simply be with friends like any other teenager.

I want to give her something to look forward to when this difficult chapter is behind her—maybe a concert with her favorite artist, maybe a trip to Disneyland, something that brings her pure joy. As a mom of two teenagers, I can only imagine how heartbreaking this experience must be for her and her family. But I can’t do this alone. I’m asking our community to come together to support Ariana and her family in any way we can. Whether it’s by joining this event, donating, or simply spreading the word, every act of kindness makes a difference.

About Ariana

Before getting sick again, Ariana loved spending time with her friends, especially in Montclair, where they would hang out and make TikTok dance videos. She is passionate about music, with a deep appreciation for artists like Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, and Chapel Roan. An incredibly talented violinist, Ariana’s musical abilities are just one of the many things that make her special.

She enjoys exploring skincare products at Sephora and sharing the best beauty tips. A dedicated student, Ariana excels academically and has a love for reading. She also played soccer and took joy in learning at school.

Her favorite show is Gilmore Girls—a series she has watched countless times. Known for her kindness, loyalty, and sweet nature, Ariana is a wonderful friend, an excellent student, and an all-around amazing person.
